Are you tired of your aunties not talking to you about sex?  Are you afraid that your little sister learns about sexuality from Barbie dolls?  Married sex-life becoming a bore?  Enter Muslim Sex Shop.

There is plenty of material on the internet for intimacy, sexuality, and related products.  We’ve never come across one for Muslims, and so we decided to create a space for our own.  The reality is, Muslims need to access useful, factual information on sexuality and intimacy.  Sexual ignorance hurts both ourselves and our future and/or present spouses.

This site is primarily intended to help Muslims realize their potential to be less neurotic and healthier human beings by creating a non-yucky forum for exploring sexuality.  Some of what you’ll find here relates to our fairly open and involved juridical tradition on topics related to sexuality, others are more modern writings on similar topics.

The authors of this site do not necessarily agree with the content of the articles found in the blog.  In fact, some of these articles are examples of the same perverse or obsessive neurosis that we’d like to see disappear.  These types of articles have been included so we can consider the legitimate or not-so-legitimate source of many of our collective sexual and social mores.  Some articles (hopefully more and more as time goes on) are the beginnings of a vibrant, modern discourse on sexuality in Muslim cultures.

Agree, disagree, submit articles for our consideration.  But, please, don’t attempt to make this site yucky or slimy.  And do your best to be respectful during what will, God willing, be a very interesting discussion.

As for the shop.  Currently it is down, as we underestimated the demand for our products!  We are busy re-stocking and will be up again shortly!
